With all three squads reporting for pre-season training last week, Bristol Manor Farm first team Manager Lee Lashenko says he is “raring to go” for the 2019/20 season.
“It’s always an exciting moment when I see my players returning for a new campaign and how quickly they integrate and welcome our new signings” said the Farm boss – “The slate is wiped clean and a fresh set of challenges awaits. It’s an exciting time for everyone involved. Everyone here knows exactly what we are striving for as a football club. We have a clear idea where we would like to see ourselves at the end of the 2020’s and for us that means actively competing for another promotion at this, the dawn of them”.
With the first match of a busy pre-season schedule just two weeks away (a visit to Radstock Town on Tuesday 16th July, 7.30pm ko) Lashenko is determined his side will hit the ground running.
“I’m raring to go. I believe this is now our strongest squad yet in my seven years here. I’m personally very happy to have retained the loyalty and services of all my key players and I can’t wait to get working with them and the new signings over the coming weeks and throughout what we hope is another successful chapter in the history of Bristol Manor Farm”
