Bristol Manor Farm FC are extremely pleased to announce our first signing of the season, Chas Hemmings joins us from Frome Town.
Chas boasts some big clubs in his past, including two years at Clevedon Town, two years at Weston-Super-Mare, three seasons playing for Bath City and the one season at Frome who he is joining us from.
The new signing was quick to praise manager Lee Lashenko, and sounded eager for the new season to start up!
I’ve always respected Lee as a manager and having the players around me like Metters I believe we can really push and compete for the top of the league! I can’t wait to start pre-season and get things running – Chas Hemmings
Lee Lashenko spoke very highly of the acquisition of Chas, noting how big a move forward it was for the club with many teams in for him.
He’s been on our radar for five seasons now, he’s always been a player I’ve been interested in and I’m glad we could finally bring him to Manor Farm. It goes to show we’re heading in the right direction and we’re bringing in the right people to go even further, Chas has already proven himself at a level above ours so it’s great news for the team and fans that he’ll be with us next season. – Lee Lashenko
This marks the first Manor Farm signing ahead of the 2017/18 season, with more to come in the near future. It’s definitely one that the Farmy Army will be excited to see!
