World Cup Winner returns to The Farm

Bristol Manor Farm have brought back Veteran World Cup winner Alex Russell to the squad. The Central Midfielder returns from Clevedon Town to bring his experience to the squad. Alex played for teams such as Rochdale, Cambridge United, Torquay United, Bristol City, Northampton Town, Cheltenham Town, Exeter City, and Yeovil Town in the past, making over 400 Football League appearances in the process.

With an almost 30 year long playing career there are not many people in the South West who don’t know Alex Russell, and anyone who does know him will know that even at the age of 45 he can still make an impact in football. A big welcome back to Aggi!

Also joining us is youth player Lewis Toop who has impressed Lee Lashenko during his time at Kingswood, Lewis joins us as we commit to building the future of Manor Farm with many exciting future stars joining the team.
