Bristol Manor Farm AFC are delighted to announce the launch of Bristol Manor Farm Women ahead of the 2026/27 season.
The team, previously known as Ashton Ladies, have proudly called The Creek home over the past couple of seasons and will now officially come under the Bristol Manor Farm banner as part of the ever-growing Farmy Army.
The move marks another significant step forward for the club as Bristol Manor Farm continues to expand its football offering and strengthen its pathway for players across the community. Supporters will now be able to back a women’s side fully integrated within the club structure, representing the same values and ambitions that have become synonymous with football at The Creek.
Director of Football Chris Holland welcomed the news and spoke of the importance of the development for the club:
“This is another really important step in widening our football offering here at The Creek. After using our pitch as Ashton Ladies for the last couple of seasons we are delighted to be able to call the team our own for 2026/7 where they will benefit from all the same facilities and support as given to our men’s team.”
New Manager Steve Ponsford also shared his excitement ahead of the new era for the side:
After several round the table chats with Craig and Dutch, I’m delighted to have signed up my team with the Farmy Army. There are exciting times ahead and we are joining a project that excites us all
Steve will be joined by Assistant Manager Mitch Ford and Goalkeeping Coach James Needs.
The newly formed Bristol Manor Farm Women will benefit from the club’s facilities, infrastructure and support network, helping to create the best possible environment for players, coaches and supporters alike.
Further details regarding league and fixture announcements for the 2026/27 campaign will be revealed in due course as excitement builds for a new chapter at The Creek.
