Bristol Manor Farm is delighted to announce the appointment of Stephen Barnes as the club’s new Supporters Liaison Officer (SLO).
A familiar face around The Creek and on the road, Stephen has been a dedicated Bristol Manor Farm supporter for a number of years. During that time, he has played a key role in creating a real sense of community through the Bristol Manor Family, helping to bring supporters together while adding colour and atmosphere to both home and away matches with flags, chants and unwavering backing for the team.
Stephen now takes on this important role with the aim of strengthening the relationship between the club and its supporters, ensuring fans have a clear voice while helping to build an even stronger connection across every part of Bristol Manor Farm.
Working alongside the wider BMF team, Stephen will assist in implementing supporter engagement initiatives, club communications, strategic messaging and fan-focused content. He will also act as a vital bridge between the club and its supporters, helping to ensure ideas, feedback and opportunities are shared in both directions.
As Supporters Liaison Officer, Stephen’s key objectives will include:
- Improving communication through regular contact with supporters
- Supporting outreach initiatives to increase awareness of Bristol Manor Farm Football Club
- Identifying and encouraging new supporters to become part of the Farm family
- Helping to unify support across our First Team, Women’s Team and Youth Teams
- Contributing to strategies that enhance the matchday experience for everyone attending The Creek
- Supporting the club’s ambition to establish Bristol Manor Farm as Bristol’s non-league football experience of choice
Stephen’s appointment is a natural progression given the passion, energy and commitment he has already shown as a supporter. His enthusiasm for bringing people together and creating a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere makes him ideally placed to help strengthen the bond between the club and its fans as Bristol Manor Farm continues to grow on and off the pitch.
