[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Bristol Manor Farm Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of experienced midfielder Frankie Artus.
As a Bristol-born and bred footballer, Artus has played at many clubs across the South West over the course of his career, including Bath City, Cheltenham Town, Exeter City, and most recently Swindon Supermarine in the 2021/22 season. Artus has been a free agent this season, and signed on the dotted line on Thursday evening.
At Twerton Park, Artus played in a number of high-profile matches, including back-to-back play-off matches against Wealdstone in the 2018/19 season in which they lost 3-1, and in the 2019/20 season where Dorking Wanderers defeated them 2-1.
Speaking on the club’s new signing, Manager Lee Lashenko commented: “Frankie is a class player and we’re thrilled to welcome him to the club.
“I think this signing will give the whole place a much-needed boost ahead of this weekend’s big match against Melksham Town.
“With the already high-calibre list of players we have at the club, I think Frankie can really help push us forward,” Lashenko expressed.
Please join us in giving Frankie a warm welcome to The Farm, and we look forward to seeing him make his debut on Saturday against Melksham at The BS3 Services Stadium.
