Club Statement: John Line Appointed Chairman of Bristol Manor Farm F.C.

Bristol Manor Farm Football Club is delighted to announce the appointment of John Line as Chairman, with immediate effect.

Following Lee Lashenko’s announcement in February that he would be stepping down as Manager and Director, we’re pleased to confirm that, after a period of careful consideration, John has accepted the role at a pivotal and exciting moment for the Farm as we prepare for the 2025/26 season in the Southern League.

John has already been a key figure behind the scenes, supporting the club’s financial operations in recent months. He brings with him a wealth of experience in accounting and finance, alongside a deep understanding of the Farm’s values, strong community spirit, and long-term ambitions. We’ve already seen the positive impact that he has had with the current ownership of the club, and we are pleased to now welcome him officially into this leading role.

He’s hit the ground running, working closely with the outgoing Lashenko to ensure a smooth and seamless transition. Today marks Laz’s final match in charge of The Farm, and his contribution over the past 12 years has been nothing short of extraordinary. His leadership, dedication, and passion have been the foundation of so much of what we’ve achieved — and for that, we are deeply grateful.

In the coming weeks, we look forward to sitting down with John to hear more about his vision for the club. His plans for the 2025/26 campaign and beyond promise an exciting new chapter, and we can’t wait to share that journey with the Farmy Army and the wider football community.

Please join us in giving John a warm and official Farmy Army welcome to The NL Services Stadium.
