“We’re a hair’s breadth away from our most successful season in our history, and the signing of Jake Gosling shows exactly what we’re trying to do at this football club,” – Lee Lashenko
After an announcement on social media last Saturday, Bristol Manor Farm AFC is delighted to announce that Jake Gosling has become a fully registered Portwayman for the 2021/22 season.
Gosling met with Club Secretary Rachael on Monday afternoon in Walsall to complete the paperwork, and after confirmation this morning Gosling will now become a key player in Manager Lee Lashenko’s side.
Speaking to the club, Lashenko stated: “We were dominant in the Western League and deserved to go up as champions. Over the past couple of seasons, we’ve cemented that we are now a Southern League club.
“Our current League position suggests that we are ready to move up another division, and the signing of Jake Gosling proves our intentions for the rest of the season,” Lashenko said.
“I want to thank Owen Howe for helping us bring Jake to the club. People questioned Owen’s decision to re-join Bristol Manor Farm in the summer, and this proves his desire to help push our historic club forward.
“We’re a hair’s breadth away from our most successful season in our history, and the signing of Jake Gosling shows exactly what we’re trying to do at this football club,” Lashenko expressed.
Gosling will be thrown straight into Southern League action on Saturday, when the Farm travel to Winchester City for another crucial fixture. I’m sure you will all join us in welcoming Jake to the club, and we hope to see as many of you down on the south coast!
