BEN BAMENT IS BACK

Following a short spell away at Melksham Town, we are pleased to announce that Ben Bament is back at the Farm and will be available for selection on Saturday afternoon.

Upon receiving the difficult news of Daniel Dodimead’s hospitalisation due to illness, following the club’s match at Yate Town on New Year’s Day, Manager Lee Lashenko promptly took action to bolster Manor Farm’s attacking ranks. He swiftly brought back the former fan favorite, Bament, to the team in preparation for the upcoming home fixture against Bideford AFC on Saturday.

Speaking to the club, Manager Lee Lashenko commented: “Given Dan’s need for recovery time due to his illness this week, we needed to take swift action and bring in another attacking option. We’ve spent many years working with Ben and he’s someone that I can trust to come in and hit the ground running, starting on Saturday against Bideford. He’s gone away and scored goals at Melksham and we’re hopeful he will do the same for us”

In other news, young midfielder Freddie Kershaw has signed for Oldland Abbotonians F.C.on a dual registration in the Toolstation Western League. The club would like to wish Freddie the best in his move, and look forward to welcoming him back when selected as part of Manager Lashenko’s first-team.
