MATCH DAY GUIDE – TAUNTON (H)

Whether you’re a Farmy Army regular or an away fan coming to The NL Services Stadium, we’ve got you covered. Our Matchday Guide provides everything you need for the evening, including previews, ticket information, hospitality details, and travel advice.

Preview:

Bristol Manor Farm v Taunton Town, 7:45pm kick-off.

Just 24 hours after their 3-1 victory at Avonmouth, The Farm returns to The NL Services Stadium to face Southern League South side, Taunton Town. The Peacocks are managed by former foe, Richard Luffman, who left local rivals Cribbs following our huge victory in front of a record crowd back in March. Other familiar faces returning include Ollie Woodhouse, Evander Grubb, and Owen Brain. The Farm has had a strong pre-season so far, with new players integrating well. Despite a loss in our first home friendly, The Farm held their own against National League South side Slough Town and is eager to face higher league opposition again.

George Kellow, who scored The Farm’s first pre-season goal at Oldland, found the net again last night, heading in a Josh Bissett cross at the King George V Rec. Mason Winter’s cross was deflected in, and Bissett himself scored to secure a third win out of four so far this summer.

Hospitality:

Newly appointed Bar Steward Jas Chappell and her team are excited to welcome new and returning supporters back to the Social Club on match days. From 11am, they will be ready to serve a wide selection of beverages, including draught standard and premium options, as well as alcoholic and non-alcoholic cans and bottles. Membership passes will be available at the bar, offering a 50p discount on all drinks, so be sure to speak to Jas about joining. Additionally, hot food will be served inside the Social Club.

Travel:

Supporters on planning to use public transport have two main options. There are Trains that run to Avonmouth and Severn Beach every 20 minutes from Bristol Temple Meads and you will need to get off at Sea Mills station, followed by a short 5 minute walk to the ground. Supporters travelling by Bus can catch the Portway Park & Ride from the city centre every 10 minutes, and will need to get off outside the ground at the Riverleaze stop.

We offer a FREE Car Park for our supporters. However, we encourage everyone to arrive at the ground well in advance of the match start time, as the parking spaces tend to fill up quickly once players and staff begin arriving for the evening.
