Bristol Manor Farm hunt three straight wins as they host Bemerton Heath Harlequins on Saturday afternoon, and Jack Davies is back to preview the action.
Farm backed up that impressive win away to Bishop’s Cleeve in dramatic style last weekend. On the receiving end of so much late home heartbreak, Ollie Woodhouse’s 98th minute winner brought pandemonium to The NL Services Stadium as they completed a comeback over Exmouth, having trailed as late as the 85th minute. Jayden Nielsen rubber stamped his fine recent form with a goal in that game too and Dan Dodimead got his first goal since his return from illness, and his 5th overall this season.
Bemerton have made an outstanding start to life at this level, following promotion last season. The harlequins are in a very handy 7h place, level on points with Farm and are well and truly in the promotion mix. They haven’t had the finest start to the new year however, one win in six before last weekend, but they will be buoyed by a fine 4-2 win over Willand on Saturday. Goals come from all angles for Bemerton, with all of their last five coming from different players.
