Manor Farm welcomes Bideford for their first home game of the new season with both teams eager to get their first points on the board.

The Robins

Bideford were looking worryingly over their shoulders after Christmas, but a good run of form saw them comfortably in mid-table by the end of the season. Aaron Taylor skippers the side and adds his all-action midfield role and their wealth of attacking talents includes striker Craig Duff and wingers Javan Wright and George Nancekivell. Keeper Adam Seedhouse-Evans was excellent against Farm in both games last season.

The Farm

Farm will be glad to welcome back defender Steve Kingdon after being forced into a makeshift defence at the weekend. Owen Howe is already off the mark for the season and will be looking for more goals from himself as his fellow forward line. Forwards Kye Simpson, Jayden Nielsen, Marcus Day and Jake Gosling will all want to mark their card for the new season and stopper Ben John will be keen for a clean sheet after his penalty save on Saturday.

The Form

Both sides were beaten by newly promoted sides at the weekend and both by a score of 2-1. Farm’s killer blow wasn’t as late as Bideford’s though, the Robins conceding a late winner in injury time. Bideford were the only team to beat Manor Farm in a Southern League South game since early December before the weekend defeat to Bashley and will be keen for a third win in a row against the Farm in this one.

Tomorrow’s match is set to be a cracker at The Creek, so why don’t you come on down and show your full support for Lee and the team! Ticket details can be found HERE.
