MATCH PREVIEW: Evesham United (A)
Jack Davies previews Bristol Manor Farm’s match against Evesham under the lights in the first of this week’s previews.
Manor Farm will be keen to bounce back after Saturday’s tough lesson at Wimborne but face another tricky test at Evesham on Tuesday. Injirues and illness have plagued Manager Lee Lashenko’s squad, and will be hoping for some welcome returns from several key players at The Spires & Hartwell Stadium. Saturday’s debutant Rhys Thomas impressed despite the score and forwards Ben Bament and Owen Brain are still in fine form overall this month. Additionally, Evander Grubb has scored three in three away games.
Evesham ended last season in spectacular style, winning four games in nine days to sneak into the play-offs, including a win at Farm last spring. This season hasn’t been as happy so far however. The Robins didn’t win in their first seven games but did get a first three points against the same team Farm earned their first win against, Bashley. A new look Evesham includes talented forwards Levi Steele and Ethan Moran.
