Jack Davies previews the match between Manor Farm and Exmouth, as they seek to build on last weekend’s huge away win.
Despite injuries and sheer attacking quality in opposition, Farm came away with a win and an extremely impressive clean sheet at Bishop’s Cleeve last time out. Defender Harry Lucas was key at both ends, with his stellar defensive shift capped by his first league goal of the season. Theo Llewelyn was forced into an unfamiliar centre back role but came away with a man of the match performance as his fine recent form continued.
Exmouth looked to be going from strength to strength as they secured a solid mid table position in their first season at this level last year, but this season has not delivered thus far. Only three wins all season has left them propping up the rest but they have picked up some impressive results of late. A score draw with high flying Mousehole was followed by a huge win away to Tavistock. Tom Bath and Ace High are amongst their attacking threats and goalkeeper Chris Wright is hugely experienced at this level.
