Bristol Manor Farm head back on the road this Saturday as they make the short trip south to face old friends, Paulton Rovers. The Portwaymen will be looking to build on last weekend’s positive performance, and Jack Davies provides the full low-down on the fixture.
Farm stopped the rot last time out as they picked up a point against Bashley. Despite wanting all three, Farm will be buoyed by their first clean sheet this month for returning keeper Seth Locke. Daniel Dodimead’s return is certainly a timely one with the Farmers losing Mason Winter to suspension. Manager Lee Lashenko will reshuffle the pack against Rovers, and may even have a treat lined up for the Farmy Army ahead of the game. Watch this space! Owen Brain has been back amongst the goals of late and he will be keen to avenge a rare blank in his last two.
Paulton are having a difficult season, which has already seen a change of manager. Former Farm favourite Kyle Tooze has taken the reigns as player/manager, and he scored against Farm in the reverse fixture. Like Farm, despite a big win on Boxing day, Paulton haven’t won since and will be desperate for three big points. Another former Portwayman is goalkeeper Frankie Phillips, who has impressed at Paulton in his short time there so far.
