Bristol Manor Farm host Roman Glass St. George in the Preliminary Round of the Emirates FA Cup, and Jack Davies previews all of the action at The Creek.
Farm are unbeaten so far this season, after making it successive league draws on Tuesday night. Jayden Nielsen got himself up and running for the season in that Tuesday draw against Bideford and forward Owen Brain has three goals in his first three Farm matches. Farm’s first round match in this competition was an epic one, as Farm came from two down to win 3-2. Goalkeeper Seth Locke has been in fine form for Farm and will feel a first clean sheet is very much deserved – especially against the side that he spent last season on-loan at in Glass.
Saturday’s visitors play in the Hellenic League Premier Division and narrowly missed out on a play-off spot last season. They’re season began with a replay victory against Lydney in this competition, but they lost on opening day in the league. Despite leading 2-0 with 5 minutes to play last time out at Slimbridge, a floodlight fire caused the game to be abandoned. Ex Farm players in their side include Mike Bryant and Lewis Leigh-Gilchrist whilst Farm new boy Ollie Woodhouse is the former Glass captain.
