A late triple salvo saw Mousehole take all three points at Trungle Parc.
Farm were missing several key players for this match but started on the front foot. Louis Britton found Josh Bissett, whose effort was well saved. Farm kept pressing and were inches away from taking the lead midway through the half. Sama swung in a cross, and Britton’s header cannoned off the crossbar. Mousehole had more of the possession, but the best chances were falling to Farm. George Dowling redirected a Britton shot to deceive the home keeper Chenoweth, but a defender was on hand to slide the ball off the line.
Farm had no luck with officials last time out, and this week it was the woodwork denying them. Jamie Adams drove the ball towards goal only to see it ricochet off the bar and away to safety. These missed chances ultimately saw Farm punished in the final ten minutes as the home side found the net. Tim Nixon was given ample time in the area to smash home from close range. Just a few minutes later, Farm were caught on the break, with Ross Derham scoring Mousehole’s second through a clever low finish into the corner. Injury time made matters worse for Farm. Captain Jamie Adams was sent off for a late challenge, before Mousehole added a third to give the scoreline a harsher look than the match itself deserved. Max Hill slid home in the final minute, sealing the three points with three goals for the home side.
