This weekend, Bristol Manor Farm take on local rivals Paulton at The NL Services Stadium, and Jack Davies returns to preview all of the action.
Farm bounced back in style midweek, with a superb victory away to Evesham. That result more than made up for last week’s defeat and has ensured Farm have won three of their last four games. Owen Brain was on the scoresheet once more and his partnership with returning winger Marcus Day, was a key factor in Tuesdays away win. Farm enjoyed a memorable and dramatic 4-3 win in this fixture last season, one that was key to their survival.
Manager Lee Lashenko further added to his attacking options on Friday morning as George Kellow switched his allegiance from rivals Cribbs FC to Manor Farm.
Paulton also had some nervous glances over their shoulder during the winter last season but recovered superbly and ended up only a couple of points shy of the top half. This season has had a rocky start, summed up by their last defeat to Cribbs, which ultimately cost Manager Craig Loxton his job. Despite this however, Paulton do posess good attacking quality, including two ex Farm forwards – Kyle Tooze and Kye Simpson.
