Jack Davies’ Preview:

Bristol Telephones v Bristol Manor Farm – Saturday 5th July, 3pm.

Club Reporter Jack Davies looks ahead to Saturday’s trip to Telephones:

Bristol Manor Farm kick off their pre-season campaign this weekend with a short trip across the city to face Bristol Telephones. It marks the first outing under new manager Will Justin, who has been hard at work reshaping the squad ahead of the 2025/26 season. With just over a month until league action returns, this friendly offers the perfect platform for players to stake their claim in what is a clean slate at The Creek. Justin and his staff have the rare opportunity to build from the ground up, meaning places in both the starting XI and wider squad are well and truly up for grabs.

Saturday’s hosts, Bristol Telephones, compete in the Western League Division One and enjoyed a strong campaign last season, finishing in the top half. With promotion in their sights this year, The Phones are already deep into their preparations—this being their third friendly of the summer. For Manor Farm’s new-look squad, it’s a chance to impress early and build momentum as the New Era gets underway. Expect a lively and competitive encounter at Stockwood Lane.
