Manor Farm travel to West-country neighbours, Melksham Town, vying to kickstart the festive period with a positive result. Jack Davies returns to preview all of the action at Oaklands Stadium.
The Portwaymen have had a couple of weeks break but still come into this one off the back of a well-earned victory over Westbury United. A brace for George Kellow and very important clean sheet for the returning Ben John was more than enough to see off the White Horse Men, and the lads will no doubt feel fresher and hungrier to build on that success. Recent Incomings, such as the aforementioned Kellow, and forward Daniel Dodimead have added real threat to Farm’s game. However, the club also bid farewell to three players departing the club. Josh Ford joined Willand Rovers, forward Evander Grubb switched to Mousehole, and most recently, Ben Bament has transferred to Melksham Town – Saturday’s opponents for Farm…

Melksham have had almost the definition of an up and down season, with equal wins and defeats and five draws mixed in. Starting the season exceptionally well, Melksham only have one win since September but that was against title chasing Mousehole. Forward Ben Brooks has plenty of previous against Farm with goals and assists and Albie Hopkins proved his ability with set pieces last time out for the hosts.
