RETURN OF THE ROBBINS

Bristol Manor Farm Football Club is pleased to announce that Aron Robbins, a versatile player capable of excelling in both defence and attack, has agreed to sign a new contract for the upcoming 2023/24 season. This news comes as a welcome for the club, as Robbins has become an integral part of the team’s success in recent seasons.

Robbins has been a key asset for the Portwaymen since joining during the Toolstation Western league days, where his defensive and attacking capabilities have provided Manager Lee Lashenko with added depth. He helped guide the club to promotion in 2016/17, as well as captaining the side to the Southern League Division One South Play-Off Final in 2021/22.

Last season, Robbins etched his name in the club’s history by scoring what is widely considered Bristol Manor Farm’s most iconic goal at The Creek. In the crucial Relegation Play-Off Final against Saltash United, he unleashed a blistering strike that resonated throughout the stadium, securing victory and preserving the club’s status.

Speaking to the club upon his new contract, Robbins said: “I can’t wait to get back playing for the Farm and help them kick on next season. We know that we need to be better, and I’m here to help get this football club promoted. That’s my aim this season. I think the club has done really well with its recruitment, especially with Jamie Adams coming back. His energy was brilliant for us last time round, and we’ll need that this season.”

Bristol Manor Farm FC is excited to have Aron Robbins on board for the 2023/24 season. His versatility, combined with his memorable contributions in important matches, has solidified his place as a key player within the team. As we await the upcoming season, we look forward to seeing more from Azza…

We hope the Farmy Army will join us in giving Aron a very warm welcome back to The Creek for next year!
