As the curtain comes down on the 2024/25 Southern League Division One South campaign, all of us at Bristol Manor Farm would like to take a moment to thank our incredible sponsors, partners, and supporters who have stood by Lee, the team, and the club as a whole every step of the way.
Despite a plethora of absentees on the playing field, whether through injury or departure, we’ve had to manoeuvre and overcome, Lee steered the team to a comfortable 12th-place finish and a Gloucestershire FA Senior Challenge Cup victory on a memorable night at Oaklands Park Stadium. Memories to last a lifetime, but we couldn’t have achieved any of it without you.
Pivotal to our efforts this season were our principal sponsors: Special mentions go to Stadium Sponsors NL Services SW Ltd, our Shirt Sponsors Hawk Security and Fire, Shorts Sponsors Bristol Sky Park Ltd, and of course, The Harrington Family – whose name adorned the back of our shirts, signifying the great relationship we’ve shared with them over the years.
Our brilliant programme, produced by Stephen Barnes and the media team, saw every advert filled ahead of the campaign, while multiple advertising boards were installed across the ground throughout the season.
Thank you to Andy Webber and the team at Clifton Suits for becoming the club’s first digital sponsors. We also can’t forget the brilliant evening at their shop on the Triangle, where we announced new signing Louis Britton and revealed our 2024/25 kits.
Off the field, matchday hospitality has gone from strength to strength, with every fixture attracting multiple bookings from guests and sponsors alike, and every home match boasting a full sponsor. Thanks to our dedicated matchday operations staff and tireless volunteers, we’ve consistently delivered a warm, welcoming experience for all visiting supporters, officials, and guests. Their hard work has made our hospitality one of the best in the division and a true point of pride for the club.
Our collective efforts have not gone unnoticed, as we celebrated a 7.5% increase in matchday attendance from the 2023/24 season. This uplift not only gave Lee and the team a boost, but also brought in vital revenue – whether through a Clark’s pie, a matchday programme, a raffle ticket, or simply a couple of pints from the bar. Every contribution, no matter the size, has made a real difference in supporting football at this level.
A special word of thanks must also go to Janson & Sons Building & Landscaping, who stepped in at a crucial time to carry out essential repairs and upgrades around the ground. To put it plainly, had it not been for the assistance from Janner and his family, we would not have passed the latest ground grading requirements, and we can’t thank them enough.
With new Chairman John Lines announced last weekend, we look forward to catching up with John over the coming weeks to hear his plans ahead of the 2025/26 season.
From everyone at Bristol Manor Farm – thank you. Your loyalty, enthusiasm, and belief in the club are what make this growing community so special. We can’t wait to welcome you back to The Creek next season as we continue to build something meaningful together.
