Bristol Manor Farm Football Club announces that Tony Parsons has stepped down from his role as Chairman. Tony took on the position following the conclusion of the 2023/24 season, bringing his passion and drive to the forefront as he worked tirelessly to support the club’s ambitions.
After serving as the club’s Commercial Manager, Tony played a pivotal role in securing vital sponsorship deals, including our significant partnership with Hawk Group Services, led by CEO and Farm Director Sean Allen. Recognising his contributions, Directors Lee Lashenko and Gill Callaghan approached Tony to take on the Chairman’s role — a challenge to which he embraced with enthusiasm.

Tony’s commitment and dedication did not go unnoticed by the Farmy Army, earning him the affectionate nickname “The Chaircrow” from supporters and even fellow members of the Southern League (as pictured at Mousehole AFC). However, recent changes in his full-time profession have made it increasingly difficult for him to dedicate the time required for the demands of Southern League football. Respecting his decision, we extend our heartfelt gratitude for his invaluable contributions as both Commercial Manager and Chairman. Tony’s efforts during the summer and at the start of the season were crucial to the club’s progress, and we are immensely thankful for his unwavering support.
The Farm’s directors have acted swiftly in response to this change, and we are pleased to announce that Sean Allen will step into the Chairman’s role while continuing to serve as Director and CEO. We look forward to supporting Sean and the club’s directors with their plans for the remainder of the season and beyond.
Tony remains a cherished member of the Bristol Manor Farm family and a great friend to everyone at the club. We look forward to welcoming him at matches whenever he is able to attend and thank him once again for his contributions.
