[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Attention quickly turns to Barnstaple Town who will visit the Creek tomorrow night for our first competitive home fixture, kicking off at 7:45pm. Lee Lashenko’s side will be hoping to bounce back after being edged-out by Cirencester Town on Saturday, narrowly losing the opening day fixture 3-2.
Despite the loss, there were plenty of positives from the Farm’s performance, most notably returning striker Owen Howe scoring twice in the second-half. Howe’s first was the opening goal in the fixture, smashing in the rebound from a Ben Bament strike. The forwards’ second came late on, exquisitely back heeling the ball to make it 3-2 in the 86th minute.
Tomorrow night’s visitors, the Barum, will also be looking to bounce back after they were defeated 1-3 to Lymington Town. The Farm will have to be cautious of Barum forward Theophillus Ofori who gave his side the lead on Saturday .
Last season, it was the visitors who enjoyed most of the success head-to-head, drawing the first fixture in October and winning the return fixture in January.
