BEN JOHN BECOMES PLAYER COACH

Bristol Manor Farm is thrilled to announce that seasoned goalkeeper Ben John has agreed to terms for the 2024/25 season, taking on the role of Player Coach. This exciting development promises great benefits for the club, especially for young keepers Seth Locke and Louis Smith, who will gain invaluable insights from ‘Johnsey’s’ experience as the new season draws near.

John, a consistent presence since joining the club in 2018, has contributed significantly to the club’s success, including participation in two promotion play-off finals over the past three seasons. Last season, Johnsey focused on aiding the development of First-Team goalkeeper Locke, and his continued involvement is highly anticipated for another promising year.

Manager Lee Lashenko expressed his satisfaction, stating, “I’m really pleased to have Ben join the coaching staff for the 2024/25 season. Since his arrival, his contributions have been immense, and I’m confident he will further aid the development of our young keepers with his extensive experience.”

In related news, it was announced earlier this week that Evan Howse has joined Avonmouth, and Regal Lashenko and Will Hughes have moved to Keynsham Town. Additionally, young keeper Louis Smith will join Keynsham on a dual registration. We extend our best wishes to these four young players and will closely follow their progress throughout the upcoming season.
