[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Bristol Manor Farm Football Club is delighted to confirm that Jamie Bird has agreed to make a comeback to The Creek for the upcoming 2023/24 season.
The dynamic striker is no stranger to the devoted fans of the Farmy Army, having initially joined the team from Hereford FC in the 2018/19 season. His impressive goal-scoring and assist contributions quickly earned many plaudits, including Manager Lee Lashenko who describes his returning forward as a ‘class act’.
Speaking to the club, Bird commented: “I’m delighted to be back at Bristol Manor Farm, but the main factor is the gaffer Lee who has shown so much trust in me to deliver for him.
Bird sustained a freak injury away to Cadbury Heath in 2020, but this summer has started his rehabilitation process following his successful ACL surgery.
“I am on the mend now, and I’m itching to get back more than ever,” Bird expressed. “It’s been a tough year, but this move is a big lift for me getting the deal over the line, and I can’t wait to repay Lee with all the trust he’s shown in me!”
“I want to win as many games as possible, and to make sure we are fighting and challenging near the top of the table.”
We hope you join us in welcoming Jamie Bird back to The Creek, and we wish him all the best on his return![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
