Long Live Llewellyn

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Bristol Manor Farm Football Club is delighted to announce that Theo Llewellyn has reached an agreement for the forthcoming 2023/24 season.

Earlier on Tuesday evening, it was announced that long-serving Lloyd Mills was the first player from last season’s contingent to extend their contract for another year, and the club acted quickly to secure the signature of midfield teammate, Theo Llewellyn, as their second returning Farmer.

Speaking to the club, Llewellyn expressed his gratitude to his teammates, Lee, and the Farmy Army upon his return to The Creek: “First and foremost, I’m absolutely delighted to be coming back to Bristol Manor Farm for my third season,” Llewellyn began.“For me personally, the first and second season was a complete contrast. As a collective we had a really successful year in reaching the play-off final and achieving our highest leave finish, compared to last year where I didn’t have as much involvement due to new work commitments.“That being said, the club did extremely well to survive, and it was brilliant to have played in our final game in front of our fantastic supporters,” Llewellyn expressed.

“The supporters played a massive part in my decision to sign on for another year. They turn up in their numbers week-in-week-out, and are so supportive of myself and the lads.”

Following the completion of his degree at The University of Birmingham and departure from Alvechurch in the Southern League Premier Division Central, Llewellyn quickly became an instant lynchpin for Manager Lee Lashenko’s Farm side, and heaped great praise on his gaffer.“Lee has been absolutely brilliant with me as both a person and a player,” Llewellyn said. “We have a great working relationship and I really feel that we both totally understand each other. He’s very supportive of my work commitments, and I’m hoping to have a larger involvement next year and repay both his and the supporters loyalty to me.“I’ve been playing at this level and higher for the past 6 years now, and I know that with the younger players coming through, I can help push them in training and in matches. I can’t wait to get back to the Creek.”

Please join us in giving Theo a warm welcome back to The Creek, and we look forward to seeing him back in action soon.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
