Bristol Manor Farm FC Welcomes George Dowling Ahead of the 2024/25 Season

Bristol Manor Farm Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of George Dowling ahead of the upcoming 2024/25 season. Dowling joins the Farmy Army after a successful stint at Step 3 side Swindon Supermarine, bringing a wealth of experience and skill to the squad.

Dowling began his football career locally at Bristol City FC, where he developed through their coveted youth academy. During his time with the Robins, Dowling went out on loan to National League Premier clubs Torquay United and Eastleigh, gaining valuable first-team experience. His journey continued at Weston-super-Mare before he became a central figure in Swindon Supermarine’s midfield over the past few seasons.

Last season at Supermarine he delivered a standout performance by scoring a sensational hat-trick against Conference South side Dartford, showcasing his attacking prowess and earning widespread acclaim.

Manager Lee Lashenko expressed his excitement about the new signing: “We are thrilled to have George join Bristol Manor Farm. Not only is this an exceptional signing for the first-team, but one that I know the Farmy Army will love. George’s vision, work rate, and ability to score goals from midfield will significantly bolster our squad. We look forward to seeing him make a big impact this season.”

Dowling also shared his enthusiasm about joining Bristol Manor Farm: “I am over the moon to be joining Bristol Manor Farm. I’ve had a few offers from the league above, but after speaking with Lee, the club is moving in a really positive direction and I want to be part of the project that is going on. I also know that the club is really well supported, and that was a big factor in my decision to join the Farm. I’m a local lad and I can’t wait to be back playing again in Bristol.

It feels great to be back in Bristol, and I’m eager to contribute to the team’s success. I’ve had some fantastic experiences in my career so far, and I believe I can bring a lot to the table here. I can’t wait to get started and help the team achieve our goals for the season.”

Please join us in giving George a warm Farmy Army welcome, and we look forward to seeing him in action soon.
