[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Bristol Manor Farm Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of attacking midfielder Jamie Short from Taunton Town.
Short arrives at the Creek as the Farm’s fourth new summer signing after Owen Howe, Theo Llewellyn, and Josh Ford. In addition, Jamie brings a wealth of experience having played at this level and above with spells at Taunton Town FC and Street FC.
Short was also a key player in Tiverton Town’s 2016/17 squad who won promotion to the Southern League Premier South – most notably scoring in Tivvy’s 3-1 victory against Paulton Rovers at Ladysmead to secure a place in the play-offs. Tiverton went on to gain promotion, beating Steve Claridge’s Salisbury 2-0 in the final.
Speaking to the club, Short commented: “I just want to see Manor Farm do well if I’m honest. I think that since Manor Farm won promotion to this division, the club has been underachieving.
“I want this club to try and achieve what we pulled off at Tiverton – which was a great feeling to be around that club at the time,” Short expressed.
“I’m an attacking-minded midfielder, and hopefully I can contribute a few goals and assists to help the team push on and win promotion.”
Welcome to Bristol Manor Farm Football Club, Jamie! We look forward to seeing you in action for our pre-season fixtures this month.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
