Bristol Manor Farm Won the GFA Senior Challenge Cup After a Superb 3-0 Victory Over Bishop’s Cleeve
The form was with Cleeve coming into the match, and they started the faster. Harry Leason got himself down the left and sent in a driven cross that came inches from a decisive touch. From then on, it was pretty much all Farm, and they took the lead midway through the half. An almighty scramble saw Owen Howe and Evander Grubb have close-range efforts blocked before Abu Sama rifled the loose ball into the roof of the net.
It got even better for Farm as they took a two-goal lead into the break. Sama and Grubb were again involved before the latter slipped the ball to Dan Dodimead, who finished with unnerving calm.

Farm continued to probe after the break, knowing a third goal would surely see them lift the trophy. George Dowling’s return was a very welcome sight, and he created the first two chances of the second half. His free kick was headed wide by Harry Lucas before his corner was headed over by Jacob Spence. That decisive third goal came just after the hour mark as the Farm faithful blew the roof off Oaklands Park. Dodimead timed his run to perfection before another devastating finish earned him his brace.
Farm were enjoying themselves now and almost made it four late on, with Dodimead turning provider as his dinked cross was almost touched home by Grubb. The final whistle brought scenes of wild jubilation and confirmed that Lee Lashenko would bow out with yet another trophy in his incredible tenure.
