MARCUS SEALS NEW DEAL

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Bristol Manor Farm’s preparations ahead of the 2021/22 Southern League season received another timely boost, as fans favourite Marcus Day has signed a new deal at the club.

Day joined the Farm in the 2020/21 season following his release from neighbouring club Bristol City, but it was 2019 when the forward first caught Manager Lee Lashenko’s eye. Whilst at the Robins, Day enjoyed two loan spells at Paulton Rovers. On his debut at the Rovers, Day scored twice in a 4-2 victory over Lashenko’s Manor Farm.

Speaking to the club, Day commented: “I remember the match against Manor Farm well,” Day began. “But I also remember Laz (Lashenko) bringing me into the changing room saying ‘this is our man’, which made me feel great as a player, because I knew that I left last impressions.

“As a young player, all I want to do is get as many minutes under my belt as I can. I really enjoy how this team plays; and hopefully with my contributions we can achieve our goal of getting promoted.

“The manager and the players have been very supportive which will only help my development,” Day said. [/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
