Planning on heading to Tuesday night’s friendly at Avonmouth? Our matchday guide provides everything you need for the day, including previews, ticket information, hospitality details, and travel advice.
Preview:
Bristol Manor Farm head to newly-promoted Jewson Western League Division One outfit Avonmouth, the first of three pre-season friendlies for Manager Lee Lashenko and his team. Last Saturday, they hosted the Conference South’s Slough Town at The NL Services Stadium, resulting in a close loss but with many positive takeaways from the game.
“We go down to our neighbours at Avonmouth, who have some really good people attached the place, with a sizeable squad with one eye on Wednesday night’s home match against Taunton.”

Tickets:
- Admission: £3 (Cash is preferred, but card payments are accepted)
Hospitality:
Farmy Army supporters wanting to grab a few drinks on their way to the game can head to the Hope & Anchor, just a 10-minute walk from the ground. However, our friendly hosts also have a fully operated and licensed bar on-site, which we highly recommend.
Travel:
The main way to travel to Avonmouth’s Recreation Ground by Public Transport is by Bus. Departing from Bristol City Centre (Stop C7), supporters will find that their best options would be to catch the 41 and get off at Akeman Way (4 minute walk to the ground) or the 3 and get off at The Bean Acre (12 minute walk to the ground). Supporters can catch the Train to Avonmouth Station, but will then have a 20 minute walk to the ground.

The Weather:
Considering the weather on Monday hasn’t been the best, it’s not actually looking that bad for Tuesday night’s friendly. Maybe bring a brolly just to be safe? …
