Preview:
Evesham United v Bristol Manor Farm, 7:45pm kick-off
Bristol Manor Farm kicked off the new season with a hard-fought goalless draw at home against Melksham Town, in front of the league’s highest weekend attendance. New signing Louis Britton came close to securing a win with his early back-post header, but clear opportunities for both sides were scarce. The Farm will now be eager to turn their strong performance into a crucial three points to truly kickstart their campaign. Meanwhile, Evesham suffered a narrow defeat at last season’s play-off semi-finalists, Mousehole, 1-0 and Mike Ford will be keen to bounce back with a win on Tuesday night.
Speaking to the club, Manager Lee Lashenko commented:
“I’m not going to be underwhelmed by Saturday’s result because I know that I have another good group this year that I can trust to deliver. They’re frustrated by the outcome, and honestly, I’m glad to see that because it means they’ll be fully focused on the next game at Evesham tomorrow.”

If you did choose the walk option from the station, there’s plenty of pubs and bars to enjoy on your route down to the stadium. Our good friends at Evesham United also have a fully licensed bar, with hot and cold refreshments available.

Travel:
The best way to travel to Evesham’s Spiers & Hartwell Stadium is by car. The quickest route from Bristol would be to follow M5 to A46 in Tewkesbury and then take exit 9 from M5, and then follow the A46 right through to the ground.
Evesham’s ground isn’t the easiest to access by public transport, however, it isn’t impossible. Departing Bristol Temple Meads, supporters will need to change twice to get to Evesham station, first heading to Cheltenham Spa, changing at Worcestershire Parkway before heading to Evesham. The stadium is then a short 5 taxi ride or 40 minute walk if you’re brave enough.
