MATCH PREVIEW: Bishops Cleeve (A)

With a Friday night showdown next up, Bristol Manor Farm travel to Kayte Lane for a third time this season. Read on to see Jack Davies preview all the action.

Farm had recovered from a slow start to the new year with four points from six before last week’s cruel late defeat to table toppers Wimborne. Ben Bament has hit his landmark 50th (and 51st goal) this month and is certainly a man in form following his return to the club. At the other end, young Harry Lucas has adapted excellently to his lengthy run at starting centre back of late and his ever-growing partnership with Ollie Woodhouse will be key in this one. Following a short spell away, club hero and longest-serving player Lloyd Mills has returned and will be available for selection on Friday.

Cleeve are never predictable, both in form in the league and form against Farm, with the two sides meeting several times across multiple competitions in the last few seasons. They’ve scored an incredible 17 goals in their last 4 games, including a 6-1 victory over Melksham and despite 7 of those goals coming in their last 2 games, they only picked up a single point from the pair. Toby Holland has 4 goals in those 2 games and fellow attackers Ethan Dunbar and Ross Langworthy have been a constant thorn in Farm’s side in previous battles.
