In an exciting turn of events, Bristol Manor Farm welcomes back its longest-serving player, Lloyd Mills, to the club after his brief stint in the Toolstation Western Premier Division at Nailsea & Tickenham. Mills, who left the club on good terms in October, is eager to rekindle the camaraderie with familiar faces and contribute to the team’s success for the remainder of the season.
Speaking about his return, Millsy shared insights from his conversations with Manager Lee. “I spoke with Lee this week about my impact for the remainder of the season, and it was great that we were both on the same page,” says Mills. “It was a completely different setup at Nailsea, and although the group of lads were great, you do miss the place that you spent a large portion of your life at. I’m really looking forward to teaming up with some familiar faces again, and meeting the new players that have joined during my time away.
Expressing his commitment to playing at the highest possible level, Mills believes that some of the clubs younger players could lean on his experience for what’s set to be a thrilling end to the 23/24 campaign. “I know that I’ve still got the hunger to play at the highest possible level, and hopefully with my knowledge and experience, I can help mentor some of the younger players at the club. It was clear that the club wanted to invest in the young talent available in the area, and it’s brilliant to see that trust in them pays dividends.”
“I’ve kept a close eye on the results and it really proves that anyone can beat anyone in this division. We know that a couple of positive results will keep the dream alive.
Please join us in giving Lloyd a very warm welcome back to The Creek, and we look forward to seeing him action against Bishops Cleeve on Friday night.
