[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Bristol Manor Farm vs Melksham Town – 19/11/22, 3pm KO.

This Saturday, Manor Farm will host Melksham at The BS3 Services Stadium looking to bounce back from last week’s loss. The match will be the club’s first Student Day, and we look forward to welcoming supporters back to the Portway for what’s set to be a thrilling match in the Southern League.

Factfile:

Nickname – The Town
Stadium – Oakfield (44 miles)
Founded – 1876
Manager – TBD
Star man – Jay Malshanskyj
Last season – 8th
Last match – 3-0 defeat to Bashley
Fun fact – They reached the quarter final of the Fa Vase in 2018.

The Town:

Melksham, like their hosts ended last season excellently, largely thanks to a hugely talented forward line. Wide forwards Jay Malanskyj and Ben Brooks guarantee goals at this level whilst captain Sam Hendy patrols the midfield. Young goalkeeper Mac Boyd has earned plenty of plaudits so far this season.

The Farm:

Manor Farm’s winning and scoring run may have ended last week but they carry a constant threat, especially at home. Jake Gosling has scored two in his last two home games, and forward Owen Howe makes his return to The BS3 Services Stadium since his baffling red card a few weeks back. Defender Mason Winter’s return will also be a very welcome one.

The Form:

Both sides suffered heavy defeats last week and will be keen to bounce back immediately. Melksham started the season brightly but are without a win in four, and indeed have just the one win in their last eight. Farm have picked up considerably after their slow start, before last week they had four wins from five and are looking much more imperious at home.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
