Wimborne Town vs Bristol Manor Farm – 26/11/22, 3pm KO.

Manor Farm look to bounce back from a frustrating fortnight as they travel to Wimborne for the second time this season. Jack Davies has this match covered with his latest preview.

Factfile:

Nickname – The Magpies
Stadium – New Cuthbury (83 miles)
Founded – 1876
Manager – Tim Sills
Star man – Harry Baker
Notable former player – Steve Welsh
Last season – Relegated
Last match – 2-1 win over Exmouth
Fun fact – They were the first club from Dorset to win the Fa Vase in 1992

The Magpies:

Wimborne have greatly improved since the last time these teams met, particularly in attacking areas. Forward Harry Baker has seven goals in his last six games, mostly supplied by energetic midfielder Dan Bartlett. Goalkeeper Shane Murphy has been a huge part of their recent upturn in form.

The Farm:

Manor Farm have been consistently inconsistent of late but the talent without the squad is always capable of winning any game. New signing Frankie Artus impressed on his debut last week despite the result and Jake Gosling has been well amongst the goals since he was given the captains armband last month.

The Form:

The form book favours the hosts who have won four games in a row which has catapulted them to 3rd in the league. Farm did win 3 on the spin but have since lost twice and rather emphatically so in both. Farm did win at Wimborne’s New Cuthbury in the FA Trophy this season (2-3), which was also despite a bad run of form at the time.
