Jack Davies’ Preview:

Bristol Manor Farm v Malvern Town – Saturday 12th April, 3pm.

Club Reporter Jack Davies looks ahead to Saturday’s home fixture against The Hillsiders:

The Farm will look to build on last Saturday’s home comforts when Malvern Town head to BS9 this weekend. George Dowling’s heroic display in the middle of the park, along with several other notable performances, capped off a great day in the sun for Bristol Manor Farm, as they defeated Larkhall Athletic 3–2 in a pulsating Bristol/Bath derby. With the scoreline at 2–2, Jack Camm was dismissed for a dangerous challenge on Evander Grubb, and Dowling picked his spot in the far corner to claim all three points on his first league appearance in three matches.

Malvern Town come into this fixture as the form side in the division, with four wins and two draws from their last six matches — an impressive record, further bolstered by the fact they are unbeaten in their last 15. The Hillsiders moved within touching distance of the play-off places following a comprehensive 3–0 victory over relegation-threatened Thatcham Town last time out, and will be keen to take the points back up the M5 and break into the top five.

Travel

Supporters on planning to use public transport have two main options. There are Trains that run to Avonmouth and Severn Beach every 20 minutes from Bristol Temple Meads and you will need to get off at Sea Mills station, followed by a short 5 minute walk to the ground. Supporters travelling by Bus can catch the Portway Park & Ride from the city centre every 10 minutes, and will need to get off outside the ground at the Riverleaze stop.

We offer a FREE Car Park for our supporters. However, we encourage everyone to arrive at the ground well in advance of the match start time, as the parking spaces tend to fill up quickly once players and staff begin arriving for the evening.
