Preview:

Willand Rovers v Bristol Manor Farm – Wednesday 23rd October 7.45pm

Manor Farm face another tough test on the road as their hectic October schedule continues at Willand. Farm put a difficult week behind them on Saturday with a dramatic comeback victory away at Melksham. In the 96th minute, Louis Britton scored his 20th goal of an incredible first two months for the club, continuing his hot streak.

Forward Olly Sully has also impressed in his first two substitute appearances, as has midfielder Rhys Thomas, who has netted twice in his last four matches. As they did last season, Willand started the campaign in fine form but is now three games without a win. Despite this, they have raised their game considerably against fellow promotion chasers, taking points from Yate, Helston, and Larkhall. Former Farm hero Owen Howe leads the line for the hosts, with midfield quality coming from Ashton Hewitt and Harvey Dorothy.

Manager Lee Lashenko shared his thoughts on Willand.

“Willand Rovers are a proper football club and a side that will always be competitive whenever you face them. That being said, we go down there full of confidence, with strong support behind us, looking to deliver another good performance.”
