[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Bristol Manor Farm Football Club has announced today that Captain Aron Robbins has departed the club for Western League Division One Side Bishop Sutton AFC.
In the news announced today, the club confirmed that Aron is no longer able to commit to the intensive nature that Southern League football demands – due to personal obligations.
Throughout the last decade, Aron has played an integral role both as a player and as captain for Manor Farm playing in several high-profile matches. This includes the club’s triumphant Western League Premier campaign in the 16/17 season where they finished as champions – and of course – last season where the Farm reached the Southern League Play-Off Final, to which Aron proudly captained us to our highest league finish.
Aron also posed a goal-scoring threat from both defence and attack, and supporters will remember last season’s ‘basketball’ match between Barnstaple Town and Bristol Manor Farm. The match ended 5-4 to Manor Farm, with Robbins scoring twice – including a last-minute winner.
With Sutton sitting inside the top seven of their division, we wish Aron and his new club all the best for the remainder of the 2022/23 season.
Thank you for your services, Aron.
Following on from Tuesday’s news, we are thrilled to announce that Jake Gosling has been appointed Club Captain for the remainder of the 2022/23 season.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
