Sharpness A.F.C. released a statement on their official Twitter page: “The club is shocked and saddened to hear of the sudden passing of Martin Bennett.
“A long-time player, previous second-team manager, and loyal supporter of SAFC. Our thoughts are with his family at this very difficult time.”
