A late Shaftesbury double saw them take all three points against a makeshift Farm at the NL Services Stadium.
The visitors started well as they looked to take advantage of a Farm side with no recognised centre-half available. Alfie Santos had their first real chance, placing his shot just wide from the edge of the area. Farm’s first opportunity came through last week’s opening goal scorer, Jamie Bird. He cut inside a challenge before forcing a smart save from Murphy. Bird had another effort parried minutes later, and George Dowling’s cross almost dropped into the far corner, but an important headed clearance denied him.

Louis Britton had a quiet first half by his standards but almost gave Farm the lead early in the second. His clever chipped effort beat the keeper but dropped narrowly wide.
Shaftesbury took the lead in controversial circumstances with fifteen minutes to play. Dan Dodimead was flagged offside despite appearing several yards onside, and the quick free kick saw the ball eventually worked to Jack Hoey, who tucked it away smartly.
Farm faced an even tougher challenge late on as they were reduced to ten men, with skipper George Dowling adjudged to be the main offender in a mass scuffle. Things went from bad to worse for Farm following his dismissal, as Remus Nixon sealed the win for the Rockies in stoppage time, finishing off a counterattack.
