Bristol Manor Farm AFC Welcomes Troy Harrington as New Chairman for the 2023/24 Southern League Season.
Bristol Manor Farm AFC is thrilled to announce the appointment of Troy Harrington as the club’s new Chairman for the remainder of the 2023/24 Southern League season. Troy Harrington, along with the entire Harrington Family, has been a longstanding and steadfast supporter of the club and we are very excited to welcome him to his new role as Chairman.
Troy’s appointment marks a significant milestone in the club’s history as we continue our journey towards success in the Southern League Division One South. Having been involved with the club for many years, Troy already brings a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of the club’s vision, values and culture, which was established by our beloved Geoffrey Sellek in 1962.
One of Troy’s primary responsibilities will be to oversee all operations at The NL Services Stadium, ensuring that the club continues to provide an exceptional experience for our players, staff, and the magnificent Farmy Army. His relationship with first-team manager Lee Lashenko and the squad will also be reinforced, allowing him to continue the successful period of the past decade.
We would also like to take this opportunity to express our sincerest gratitude to Gill Callaghan for her outstanding contribution as Acting Chairman. Gill stepped up to the role in the wake of Geoff’s passing at the end of the 2021/22 season and has played a vital role in guiding the club through a challenging period. Her dedication and leadership have been invaluable, and we are pleased to announce that Gill will remain an integral part of the club’s future. She will continue to be a key figure in the club’s matchday hospitality and operations team, ensuring our sponsors and visiting teams have the best experience possible.
