Preview:

Bristol Manor Farm v Westbury United, 3:00pm kick-off

After a weekend off, Bristol Manor Farm are back in action with an Isuzu FA Trophy clash against Westbury United. The Farm finally kick-started their season with an impressive Bank Holiday doubleheader, securing a commanding 4-1 victory, followed by a 2-0 away win over local rivals Cribbs. New signing Dylan Tate exceeded expectations, netting twice in the first game, alongside strike partner Louis Britton, who also bagged a brace against Bideford.

While Westbury haven’t had the best start in the league, their FA journey continued last weekend with a win over higher-tier AFC Totton. Former Farm player Bevan Cross opened the scoring and forms part of a dangerous front line.

Speaking to the club, Manager Lee Lashenko had this to say:

Westbury experienced the magic of the FA Cup last time out with a home win against AFC Totton, which shows the capability of the opposition we face. Our bank holiday saw us get up and running and we need to be at full throttle on Saturday.”

Travel:

Supporters on planning to use public transport have two main options. There are Trains that run to Avonmouth and Severn Beach every 20 minutes from Bristol Temple Meads and you will need to get off at Sea Mills station, followed by a short 5 minute walk to the ground. Supporters travelling by Bus can catch the Portway Park & Ride from the city centre every 10 minutes, and will need to get off outside the ground at the Riverleaze stop.

We offer a FREE Car Park for our supporters. However, we encourage everyone to arrive at the ground well in advance of the match start time, as the parking spaces tend to fill up quickly once players and staff begin arriving for the evening.

The Weather:

In true British style, the weather appears eager to shift away from the sunshine and embrace a more autumnal feel. It might be wise to bring a coat, just to be safe.
