Bristol Manor Farm is gearing up for another weekend of league action as they embark on their fifth consecutive Saturday away match, and Jack Davies is here to provide a preview of all the upcoming excitement.
Proudly so for Lee Lashenko’s Manor Farm, the team have been here, there and everywhere this month, but couldn’t have asked for a more difficult return to league action this weekend. The Farm’s depth has certainly been tested, with plenty rotation across the defence and midfield over the past four weeks. Steve Kingdon replaced Josh Ford at the heart of defence last time out in the Trophy, while fellow defender Mason Winter has been enjoying his football since earning his place back in the starting XI. At the top end of the pitch, Evander Grubb scored his second and third goals of the season at Bishops Cleeve, and will be hoping to continue his strong vein of form alongside Jayden Nielsen and Owen Brain.
Bashley adapted superbly well during their first season at this level last term, mainly thanks to some excellent home form. The Hampshire outfit were denied a play-off spot on the final day and will be keen to be there or there abouts again this time out. Goalkeeper Ross Casey is one of the best at this level and their depth in attack is even stronger this season, following the signing of Brett Williams.
Bashley sadly suffered the loss of former chairman Mike Cranidge this week and everybody at Bristol Manor Farm offer their heartfelt condolences to the club and give our love to his friends and family.
