Fun fact – Gosport finished 6th in the Conference South just 7 seasons ago.

The Boro

Gosport have started their season fairly well, particularly from a goalscoring perspective. Striker Dan Wooden is as instinctive as they come as that level and is supported by wingers Andreas Robinson and former Bristol Rovers man Abdulai Baggie. Full backs Rory Williams and Harry Kavanagh provide both defence solidity and set piece delivery threats.

The Farm

The Farm still may be struggling to see games out but performances are ever-improving. Goals have been much easier to come by lately, especially by Marcus Day, who grabbed two last time out. Owen Howe has scored 3 goals in the 2 previous rounds of the trophy and is Farm’s top scorer in all competitions with 6.

The Form

Gosport are settled nicely in the Southern Premier but have found it harder on their travels this season. Both teams come into this after frustrating defeats last time out. Farm let a lead slip to 10-man Sholing whilst Gosport led by 2 goals before losing to Hayes and Yeading. They were also dumped out of the other FA competition earlier this season when they fell to a 2-1 defeat against fellow Division One South side Paulton Rovers. Farm may be without a league win, but this trophy is where they’ve really come alive this season and will be in a strong position for an upset.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
