Cainey’s equaliser ensure Farm share the spoils with Mousehole
Bristol Manor Farm and Mousehole played out a hard-fought draw in a true game of two halves at the NL Services Stadium.
The Farm began brightly, controlling much of the early possession without creating too many clear openings. Brandon Bak came closest when his header from Ryan Cainey’s cross was tipped away by the visiting goalkeeper. Despite offering little threat, Mousehole took the lead in the 18th minute — a long ball forward was miscontrolled, and a questionable offside decision allowed Liam Prynn to round Owen Crawford and slot home. The visitors nearly doubled their advantage moments later, but Crawford produced a fine save to deny Prynn once again.

After the break, the Farm stopper was called into action early on, superbly keeping out Turner after a clever turn and pass from Jack Symons. The hosts needed a lift and got it before the hour mark — a well-worked throw-in found Mal Nicholls in space, and although his shot was saved, Cainey reacted quickest to slide in the rebound and level the score.
Galvanised by the equaliser, the Farm pressed for a winner. Bak fired narrowly wide before delivering a teasing cross that Aysa Corrick was inches from turning in. Mousehole remained dangerous on the counter, with Crawford producing another outstanding save to deny Nixon from close range.

The Farm almost found a dramatic winner late on when a low cross struck a divot, looping over the keeper but agonisingly out of Bak’s reach. Their final chance came from a corner deep into stoppage time — Blake’s volley from the rebound fizzing just over the bar.
A point apiece, but plenty of positives for Justin’s men to take into the next fixture.
