Hartpury v Bristol Manor Farm – Tuesday 12th August, 7.45pm.
Club Reporter Jack Davies looks ahead to Tuesday’s trip on the road to Hartpury:
Manor Farm hit the road again for their first midweek away trip of the new season, visiting Hartpury.
Few teams will be riding higher than The Farm after the opening day. Following a summer of big changes on and off the pitch, Will Justin’s side began the Southern League campaign in style with a superb victory at Willand. Brandon Bak continued his bright start, adding a league goal to his FA Cup strike, and setting up fellow scorer Mal Nicholls in the weekend win.
Hartpury University’s rise has been nothing short of meteoric. Founded in 2020, they’ve already lifted five trophies, including three league titles, the latest earning them promotion from the Hellenic League to the Southern League. Their first-ever outing at this level came with a tough trip to one of the title favourites Winchester. Despite a late defeat, they took plenty of positives from their debut.
Everyone at Manor Farm is proud to be part of Hartpury’s historic first home match at this level — and we hope to see a strong Farmy Army turnout to cheer the lads on.
