UP NEXT: Cirencester Town F.C. (a)

For the first time in over nine months, Lee Lashenko’s Manor Farm return to league action when they travel to Cirencester Town on Saturday afternoon. Former Farm player, Jamie Adams, scored twice from the penalty spot to secure a 2-1 victory over Thatcham Town, and 283 days later Lashenko’s side will be hoping to kickstart their new campaign with a victory.

Off the field, It’s certainly been a summer to remember for the Portwaymen with the club bolstering its ranks with six new faces including Josh Ford, Owen Howe, Jamie Short, Theo Llewellyn, Ben Bament, and Luc Noble. The squad have enjoyed a competitive pre-season campaign with admirable performances against Barry Town United and Merthyr Town, as well as victories over Bishop Sutton, Avonmouth and Bodmin.

The Centurions were flying high in the division last season, winning their previous five fixtures in the season – including a 6-1 rout over Paulton Rovers in November 2020. Lashenko will be hopeful that his new-look Farm side can change their form against the Gloucestershire-based club having lost their last three competitive matches.
