UP NEXT: Paulton Rovers F.C. (A)

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]This weekend, Bristol Manor Farm AFC travel to Paulton Rovers to conclude the two sides’ trilogy of fixtures in recent weeks. Paulton have enjoyed all of the success so far, knocking Manor Farm out of the Southern League Challenge Cup and FA Trophy respectively. Here is all the information ahead of the fixture at Winterfield Road.

The Portwaymen will be buoyed by the return of form shown by Owen Howe, following his short term absence from the team last month. Howe has contributed three goals in the Farm’s last two fixtures against Paulton and is confident that he can continue his strong goalscoring form heading into Saturday.

“It’s never ideal missing games during the season,” Howe began. “But I had a wedding booked before I returned to the club – which couldn’t be helped!”

“I was buzzing to get back playing, and it took a couple games for me to get back to how I felt before. I’m feeling good at the minute, and the goals are back – so hopefully they can continue,” Howe said.

The Portwaymen currently sit in 3rd place in the Southern League Division One South, but Howe believes that there’s still more to come from his side.

“I think as a team we need to believe we can actually do something this season,” said Howe.

“We are a bit stop, start at the moment, and you need to build consistency if you are to have a successful season.

“I think the quality is there for everyone to see, but it’s just the working hard off the ball as a team we need to improve on. Once we’ve tackled that, I think we will be nearly there,” Howe finished.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”26545″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]
